Hanging Rock State Park
Hanging Rock State Park is a 9,011-acre North Carolina state park in Stokes County, North Carolina. The park is named for one of its main peaks, Hanging Rock, which is visible from the property's backyard.
At the top of Hanging Rock, gorgeous views from the Dan River valley to the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and Virginia awaits hikers. The park offers many activities including hiking and mountain bike trails, swimming at the lake, kayaking and camping.
